UMM christmas2 carol 2022

University of Mkar Chaplaincy unit on Friday 2nd December, 2022 thrilled the campus with melodious Gospel Hymns to kick start events leading to the 2022 Christmas season on the campus. The event which took place at the University Chapel was well attended by members of the University Community. What was very significant during the occasion was the physical presence of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Zacharys Anger Gundu and his beloved wife, Mrs. Lucy Gundu. Others were, the Bursar Mr. Philips Amo Ioryina; the University Chaplain Rev. Jeremiah Tor Boigongo; former University of Mkar Chaplain Rev.Terlumun Faajir, Mr. Terese Tange as well as  Academic and Non-Academic Staff, students and friends of the University.

In his opening remarks, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Zacharys Anger Gundu admonished staff and students to imbibe the spirit of selflessness and love for one another. He further tasked organizers of the Carol to device strategies that will add more value to subsequent  Christmas Carols. The Vice-Chancellor also volunteered to assist towards making the University of Mkar Choir more outstanding and the Christmas Carol service more eventful than the previous ones. As part of the Service, the University of Mkar Choir presented renditions of choice  Carols to the excitement of the congregation and glory of God.The event was interspersed with praise and worship, readings  and dance sessions. The Vice-Chancellor and members of staff all joined the jubilant  students during the dance session all to the glory of God.
